Ignacio Angelelli (Ph.D. 1965, Fribourg, Switzerland) is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. He has written many articles in logic (ancient, medieval, and modern), the history and philosophy of logic, and the history of modern philosophy. He is the author of Studies on Gottlob Frege and Traditional Philosophy (1967) and editor of Frege's Begriffschrift (1964) and Kleine Schriften (2nd ed., 1991). His recent papers include "The Scholastic Background of Modern Philosophy: 'Entitas' and Individuation in Leibniz", in Individuation and Scholasticism (1994) and "Saccheri's Postulate" (Vivarium, 1999).
