He received his Ph.D. and his habilitation in Philosophy with comprehensive studies on seventeenth century teaching of philosophy in Basel and on the philosophy of the Italian Enlightenment. He teaches philosophy at Zurich University. His publications include studies on philosophy in the early modern period; his recent research concerns the political philosophy of the German Enlightenment. List of publications |
